Layering Up for Fall Days

NEW HAMPSHIRE // AUGUST 2017

READY FOR FALL IN VERMONT FLANNEL

It doesn’t feel like fall just yet here in Nashville, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have all the cravings the coming season brings on - big cuddly scarves, baking at home, lots of plaid, extra candles and cinnamon topped on everything. Last month we spent time in beautiful New Hampshire and while the days were filled with sunshine and warm temperatures, the evenings brought a welcomed crisp to the air, giving a taste of what's to come.

I love layering for fall and one of my go-to pieces is a flannel shirt. They are so versatile and of course, super cozy! Although I have a few flannel shirts in my closet which make the rotation, I have a new favorite... my Vermont Flannel Company shirt. The fabric is extra-thick, very soft and comes in a handful of plaids to choose from. While traveling I love discovering brands and quality goods that are locally-made! They make for great souvenirs and add character to your wardrobe and home that can only come from experiencing new places. This was my first Vermont Flannel purchase - which I bought at the company's flagship store in quaint Woodstock, VT - but I know it won't be my last. I already have my eyes set on this blanket and these lounge pants. Shop more of my flannel picks for fall below.
